So, you’ve stumbled onto our humble abode. Well, let me introduce myself. My name is John, I’ve been in this game for over a decade, and I’m the head honcho around here. *spits*
Sorry about that bravado, let me just say that I’m a really easy going guy and pretty much let the inmates run this asylum--to an extent.
This is created-character wrestling federation. No real wrestlers allowed. No genuine rip-offs will be accepted, either.
I have final say regarding storylines, results, and the ever important win/loss. This is a 90%-roleplay based federation. Occasionally you will find an angle-driven storyline, but that is really up to the handlers involved.
There will be a team of judges (myself and other staffers) who will read each and every roleplay, and based on our opinions, will choose a winner.
We will hold five (5) pay-per-view events throughout the year. With this type of schedule, we hope to really build up some solid feuds.
Much like the WWE, we will follow “big three“ PPV model. Our events will be taking place in January, May, and August (with our grandest PPV taking place in August). The other two PPV events will take place in March and November, respectively.
We will hold a bi-weekly show, that is broadcast on the internet-transitioning to a network later. In a scenario similar to TNA, we will stay in our “home location” and only travel for either our Pay-Per-View events, or a rare tour.
The show will take place on Wednesday nights, and that means that roleplaying will be from Thursday through the next Sunday night at Midnight, EST.
There will be a two-roleplay limit for regular shows, and for our PPVs, three will be accepted.
We will have two champions with the possibility for a third singles title or possibly tag-team gold down the line.
Our most prestigious title is our Revival Heavyweight Championship. Only the best and brightest will ever have this gold strapped around their waist.
The other RW championship is the Massacre Title. It will be defended more frequently than the Heavyweight Championship as it is intended to build a superstar’s legacy throught hardcore matches. It can be defended in any type of match, and will hopefully be the final step before making it into the main event scene!
I hope that you enjoy your stay and truly have fun, because that is our goal. We want to put the fun back into this game.
Welcome to Revival Wrestling!
