Hello My Revival Roster!
Starting weekly we are going to be having a ranking system. You will get to see your name rise to the top, or fall into the abyss. Which direction you go is completely up to you. How well you do is how you rank on the list. Everything factors into it- Wins, Losses and your current standing in Revival. It will give all of you something to work for..or against. Below is the current ranks from this past week. More announcements will follow.
[REVIVAL RANKINGS FOR 7/3-7/17]
1. Sydney LaRoux
Legacy Champion
Last Week: N/A This Week: 1
It was a big week for the Deviant. In a match where she took her fair share of the lumps, Syd managed to walk away with the Legacy title after beating The British Bomber. It was a match that many thought would push Syd to the background and bring the Bomber back to the forefront. Syd negated that thought and walked away from Resurrection with the Legacy Championship. One would have to wonder what kind of target she’s placed on her back now. And her up coming week looks to be just as crazy, when she takes on the very dangerous Rose Acantha.
2. John “Wrath” Ojeda
Last Week: N/A This Week: 2
Only one word can be used to describe the debacle that occurred between Mac Bane and John Ojeda at Resurrection… bloodbath. Both men had to seek medical attention after the match, but the victor of that match just happened to be the man that they call Wrath. Despite the fact that Wrath walked out the winner at Resurrection, he sure probably doesn’t feel like he won much. The insanity that ensued was not for the weak of stomach, and the kenzans alone are proof of that. Wrath promised something Bane had never seen before, and that was something that he delivered. Both men have quite a few holes in their bodies; but Wrath has to shrug that off when he takes on Ishimaru “The Beast” Junichiro in the main event of Revival’s next live event.
3. Ishimaru “The Beast” Junichiro
Last Week: N/A This Week: 3
With a win over not one, but two competitors at Resurrection, Ishimaru Junichiro showed why they called him the beast. The Japanese sensation looked very impressive in his win and opened a lot of eyes to what men from the far east can do. He brought a true sense of the Puro style to the ring with him and it paid off in spades. The real question now, is if the Beast can stand up to the man known as Wrath. Both men are hard hitters, so their up coming match up looks like it’s going to be based on stiff work and punishment to the body. Junichiro faces an uphill battle, but we’re sure it’s one that he’s looking forward too.
4. Claude Robichaux
Last Week: N/A This Week: 4
In what many described as the sleeper match of the night, Claude Robichaux walked away with a win over Ashley Laroux. It was a hard fought battle that saw a lot of back and forth action. There were a few occasions where it looked like Mr. Robichaux was down and out, but he managed to battle back and pick up the big win. It looks like Robichaux has a match this week where he’s not going to have to work as hard, as he faces perennial dark match contender Holli Would.
5. “The Cold Spider” Nate Webb
Last Week: N/A This Week: 5
The other end of the three way match between Reaper and the Beast… Nate Webb came so close but ended up so far away from the victory. It was a valiant effort by Nate Webb, but he couldn’t manage to pull out the win. But Webb must have impressed someone in the office; because he’s been put in a match with the current Legacy Champion. It may not be a title match, but it sure is a chance to shine. Nate Webb is going to try and wrap up the Deviant in his web and suck her carcass dry if he gets the chance.
6. Wolfgang Slayde
Last Week: N/A This Week: 6
Who would have thought that Broadasali would get man handled the way that he did by Mr. Wolfgang Slayde. If people weren’t sure if Slayde was the real deal, they are after that match at Resurrection. Slayde tore Broadasali apart and proved that getting in front of Wolfgang will get you Slayde. But can Wolfgang diffuse the British Bomber on our next show?
7. Mac Bane
Last Week: N/A This Week: 7
Mac Bane brought himself out of retirement and took the battle to Revival Wrestling’s resident psychopathic destroyer, and took it to him he did. Bane, quite possibly, gave the biggest fight of his career to the man known as Wrath. On several occasions it looked like Mac Bane had the match in the bag, but at the end of the night, he didn’t have enough to get the job done against Ojeda. Bane is said to be nursing a couple of wounds from the match, as is Wrath, but Bane promises to be at the next taping for the webisodes and he promises that he will once again bring the fight to The Reaper. One thing is known, we don’t think this will be the last that Bane and Wrath see each other.
8. Ashley Laroux
Last Week: N/A This Week: 8
Ashley Laroux had a rough week. She came within half a slap on the mat of taking down Claude Robichaux and securing her spot as a top dog in Revival wrestling; but Smashley didn’t manage to pull out the victory. Despite the hard fought battle, she had to find out how bitter defeat tastes. This week Ashley Laroux has a chance to right that wrong and get that sour taste out of her mouth when she takes on newcomer Nikki Blade.
9 . The British Bomber
Last Week: N/A This Week: 9
No one would have expected the Bomber to end up this far down the list, but for whatever reason, he had an off night at Resurrection. He put up a great fight against Sydney LaRoux, but at the end of the day, he didn’t walk out with the Legacy title. He walked out with an empty feeling and a wonder about what he could have done differently. The real question is will the Bomber be left wondering the same thing at our next show when he squares off against Wolfgang Slayde.
10 . The Reaper
Last Week: N/A This Week: 10
On the wrong end of the three way dance is The Reaper. A man that is generally feared in the wrestling industry; was not able to induce fear in his opponents at Ressurection. There was a valiant effort on his part, but the Reaper did not prevail. This week, the Reaper has his hands full with an ailing Mac Bane, who is shortly removed from a brutal war. Can the Reaper put the away Mac Bane or will the scythe and cloak not be enough to take down Mac Bane?
11. Holli Would
Last Week: N/A This Week: 11
Holli Would won a match? You mean she won? Are we sure about that one? Really? Alright, Holli Would won her match this week. So that bring her in ranked at 11th this week. Next week, she’s facing Claude Robichaux, and we are going to wager a guess that she’s not going to fair to well against the man that took out Ashley Laroux at Ressurection.
12: Broadasali
Last Week: N/A This Week: 12
Wow, just wow. We thought Broadasali was going to be a nightmare for the whole roster to deal with. It turns out that Wolfgang turned Broadasali’s nightmare into a mildly bad dream that was forgotten as soon as he awoke. No one knows what’s next for Broadasali, and one has to wonder if this is the last we’ll see of the man. What we do know is that he ended up injured after the encounter with Wolfgang. Help him Amadeus.
