The Contenders match and many many more of your favorites. Let’s kick off The Culling Richie byt heading to the back to see what is happening with Jessica King!
The camera catches Jason Ecks as he comes into the arena with his rolling suit case pulled along behind him. Waiting on him near the entrance is Jessica King.
Jessica King: Jason Ecks, may I have a word with you.
Jason Ecks: Yep you can have one, I have to get ready for my match.
Jessica King: What are your thoughts as you prepared this week for “The Beast”?
Jason smirks and hesitates for only a moment.
Jason Ecks: Well Jess, oh you don’t mind if I call you Jess do you? No I didn’t think you would, thanks. The only thing that I thought about is the many different ways you can take a man of that size and reduce him to something less.
Jessica King: interesting, I mean he has you by a nearly one hundred pounds, you do realize that right?
Jason Ecks: Yes he does and what happens to man of that size when you damage the tendons and cartilage in his knees?
Jessica King: Well…I uh…
Jason Ecks: When those elements of the knee are damaged they cannot support the massive two hundred and sixty-five pounds. If you got no wheels, you got no game.
Jessica King: Well said.
Jason smirks at her.
Jason Ecks: Yeah, I thought so, see you around Jess.
Jason Ecks leaves the frame and Jessica King wondering what just happened.
Mayhem: New guy there folks who will be debuting here in minutes. but Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome back to The Culling! We have a great show in store for you tonight, starting with the self proclaimed FNG Jason Ecks as he takes on “The Beast” or Ishi as we like to call him.
Trinks: Don’t forget about Holli and Nikki Maggs! The battle of the hotties! They both want me.
Mayhem: No one is going to forget about those two after the words they exchanged leading up to this match, in addition to the hotness its also about the number 1 contender for the avarice title! But it looks like Stan is ready for the intro’s so we will get back to the card as time allows.
Stan Hopeforth: Ladies and Gentlemen our first match is set for one fall, up first he calls Dallas, Texas home…
Down with the Sickness by Disturbed hits hard on the arena sound system as Jason Ecks appears on the stage. He looks at the camera and starts counting off with his fingers…1…2…3 sprints towards the ring as the pyro goes off on the ramp almost as if he is racing it. He launches himself at the last second and baseball slides under the bottom rope. He slides to the center of the ring and pops to his feet. He approaches the near corner and climbs to the second turn buckle and looks out over the crowd and up the ramp waiting for the start of the match.
Stan Hopeforth: Jaaasssson Ecccckkkkks! And his opponent hailing from Japan.
The King of Pain by Loudness plays on the PA system as Sarissa Camarillo comes through the curtain followed by Ishimaru Junichiro. Ishimaru Junichiro stops at the top of the ramp and lets out a war cry then raises both arms in the air as gold and silver pyros shoot off behind Ishimaru Junichiro. Sarissa Camarillo heads down to the ring with Ishimaru Junichiro comming down to the ring behind her. Sarissa Camarillo climbs up the stairs and then holds the ropes open as Ishimaru Junichiro then climbs up the stairs then enters the ring. Sarissa Camarillo removes Ishimaru Junichiro's leather jacket for him then gives him a kiss on the cheek. Ishimaru Junichiro stands ready for his match while Sarissa Camarillo exits the ring and stands in the corner.
Stan Hopeforth: “The Beast” Ishimaru Junichiro!!!!
Hopeforth exits the ring quickly as the ref goes through his prematch ritual.
Mayhem: Classic David versus Goliath here in this one.
Trinks: I’m bored….wonder if there is any cotton candy….
Mayhem: And with that and the ref calling for the bell lets go to the ring…
Both men approach the center of the ring, Ecks has to look up at Ishi to look him in the eyes and visibly swallows the saliva that has formed. Junichiro smiles and pats him on the cheek trying to get in the head of Jason and it works. Ecks unloads kicks to the outer thigh causing Junichiro to back peddle a bit until he is backed up to the far side ropes and Jason just keeps bringing the pain with kick after kick trying to inflict as much damage to the knee area as possible. Junichiro grabs him by the throat and shoves him across the ring. Ecks kips up and charges covering the distance a little too quickly, showing his inexperience running into a savate kick from Junichiro! Ishi backs into the ropes and runs toward Ecks leaping into the air hitting his twisting elbow drop to the chest of Jason. He covers him for the first pinfall attempt.

Kickout by Ecks!
Mayhem:A little offense from the new comer but all Ishi after that.
Trinks: If you call a few kicks to the knee offense.
Junichiro drags Ecks back to his feet and whips him to the far ropes. Jason rebounds and gets taken down hard with a running lariat! He drags Jason back to his feet and puts him into position for a suplex. As he allows Ecks to float over, Jason counters with a backstabber! Both men are down from the impact and the ref checks on both. Ecks gets back to one knee and looks over at Junichiro shaking his head to clear the cobwebs. Jason goes to the outside and waits, he is rewarded when Junichiro get to his knees. Jason using the top rope hits a springboard drop kick! The impact knocks Ishi flat! He however doesn’t go for the cover but drags Junichiro into a seated position. Jason hits the ropes and nails Junichiro in the face with Asessment(shining wizard)! Ecks goes for the cover!

Kickout by Junichiro!
Mayhem: How’s that for offense Trinks!?
Trinks: Oh did I miss something?
Ecks slaps the mat in frustration and gets quickly back to his feet. He circles around as Ishi is getting back to a kneeling position and goes for ANESTHESIA(buzzsaw kick)! Junichiro ducks underneath it but waits for Ecks to finish his rotation and grabs him hitting a seated t-bone suplex! A holy shit!! Chant breaks out in the crowd from the display of pure power from Ishi. He hops back to his feet and drags him to the corner. Ishi climbs to the middle turnbuckle with Ecks in a three-quarter face lock and leaps off the turn buckle…Diamond Dust! Junichiro goes for the cover; 1!....2!...thr…kickout by Ecks! A collective gasp escapes the crowd, no one including Ishi expected him to kick out of that. Junichiro a long time ring veteran is not frustrated at all with the two count. He gets back to his feet and puts Ecks into a suplex position again and this time hits his move he calls Banzai(vertical suplex stunner)! He drags Ecks back to his feet again, this time scooping him up and placing the head of Jason between his legs.
Mayhem: Oh this is over right here he is going for The Kamikazi!
Trinks: Cradle piledriver coming up
Jason kicks his legs like crazy forcing Junichiro over backwards! Jason steps out of it but maintains his hold on Ishi’s head and delivers a reverse DDT! He does not go for the cover, instead he waits as Junichiro staggers back to his feet and hits the ropes. After he rebounds off the ropes he goes into a hand spring and clocks Junichiro with a jumping round house kick that he calls “Test Results”! Ishi is down and out on the mat in the center of the ring! He goes to the ring ropes, he uses the top rope to launch himself up on top landing in a sitting position and hits a split legged moonsault onto the chest of Ishi!
Mayhem: Here is the cover by the rookie!
Trinks: Kick out at 2 and a half!
The rookie drags Ishi back to his feet and begins working on the knees of the big man again with kicks to the outside of the knees. He tries to follow it up with a jumping spin kick but Junichiro catches his foot and yanks him out of mid air! The impact from the counter left Jason groggy as he staggers back to his feet he gets a boot to the gut from Ishi that doubles him over and he gets planted with a snap brainbuster! He drags Ecks back to his feet and scoops him up into position and plants him with The Kamikaze! Junichiro shoots the half as the ref slides into position!
1!
2!
3!
The ref calls for the bell and raises Junichiro’s hand in victory!
Stan Hopeforth: Your winner… ISHIMARUUUUUU JUNICHIRRRRRO!
After the cameras fade off from the ring, the feed from the arena screen is set to the man who leans against one of the walls in the hallway of the arena, the hood up but a familiar voice coming from the hidden figure.
Andreas: It seems as though not a lot of people were sold on the performance I put up last week.
The voice being that of the still-fresh rookie Andreas DeCosta, giving a sideways glance toward the camera, an unsatisfied look on his face as he stares into the lens for just a moment.
Andreas: There are people are there who felt that I shouldn’t have won last week, that I got lucky. Whatever their reasoning is.
He shrugs as he leans against, appearing to be focused on something else rather than addressing the crowd. His eyes held a fire in them, a type of anger that started last week.. as soon as Nate Webb opened his mouth, as soon as everyone said that Andreas should have lost.
Andreas: For all those people who think I lost… too damn bad. It was my arm being raised at the end of the match and whether you win by a landslide or by this much… a win is a win. Guess what? I got the W and he didn’t.
Speaking with a chip on his shoulder, Andreas looked toward the camera again.
Andreas: But hey, it’s my own fault for leaving doubt in everyone’s minds. It’s my own fault for even giving him the opportunity to win. This week, I’m going to put that doubt to rest.
The signature smile of his is absent from his face, the determination evident as that stare of his never changes.
Andreas: After this match, people won’t be questioning if I should have won or not.. people are going to be questioning whether Nate Webb will ever fight in Revival again. Make sure you get a good look of that belt before you step into the ring with me Nate because the next time you see it, it’ll be wrapped around my waist. Time to step up little man, and leave the sister at home.
Andreas gives that grin at the end with a wink before heading down the hallway, the camera on him until he disappears and it goes back to the ring.
