Maggie Mayhem: Welcome to REVIVAL folks. We have a jam packed night for you tonight with a tag team 6 person match! Hessingstock and Alyx vs. Aimes and Jordan vs. Bomber and Fagan!
Richie Trinks: Don’t forget Kerry taking on our commish, Valiant!
Mayhem: Yes he is! Wolfcastle takes on the The Savior of Revival, Kyle Cross!
Trinks: I hate that kid. Hessingstock should have took him out when he debuted!
Mayhem: What? Kyle Cross is a pillar of strength of Revival.
Trinks: About as strong as the tag match tonight Magpie! Joey Johns and Marty Mar against Tyyyyyyce and the scary bug guy!
Mayhem: *eye roll* You are ridiculous..that is what you are.
Trinks: Best compliment ever sugarpants! I love you too!
Mayhem: The buzz in my ear means they want us to quit yakking and get to the show. We have developements in the back Richie!
Camera cuts backstage as Fagan Ballentine is on the floor stretching when the British Bomber walks in.
British Bomber: Hey, I got you something that might be of aid tonight. Here you go.
Fagan looks up and a large bag hits him in the face. He doesn't even care, with the excitement similar to that of a child on Christmas he rips the bag open and there are new, black wrestling boots. REAL wrestling boots. ACTUAL FACTUAL wrestling boots. Fagan hugs them.
Fagan Ballentine: THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!
British Bomber: Don't worry about it, I just didn't want you to roll your ankle out there. Those beat up sneakers have seen better days.
Fagan takes his sneakers off and his damp, dingy socks immediately stink up the room. Bomber almost has to cover his nose. Fagan pulls the new boots on and is lacing them up.
The camera fades from Fagan to a new comer to the Revival roster. She brushes her hair from her face, smirking as she does so.
Jessica Robertson: Hello Revival, I am Jessica Robertson. Your Queen and your saving grace from the rest of this roster. There are a few here who think like me. Charming, can kick ass in the ring and look good doing so.
One asks themselves though, when is it all real?
Chuckling to herself, she smiles back at the camera, then her eyes train like lasers on the lens.
Jessica Robertson: This week, I am in a "rookie match" with another rookie and a so-called legend. Somehow, Revival bosses hate me because of my #TeamKerry affiliation. Screw management, I will just take put Phoenix and Sydney. Then everyone will have no choice or no say.
They will HAVE to watch the queen at work...
She fixes her attire, black leather pants and a pink and white tee with the word QUEEN written across it. Smiling again at the camera, she points toward the entrance to the stage.
Jessica Robertson: Every Revival star and fan is in for a treat watching me wrestle. I hope you all enjoy watching me crush people. Now, if you will all excuse me, I think I hear the sound of my music playing. Ciao bellas...
She leaves the area walking toward the stage. A moment later you see her with none other than Joe Johnson, arm wrapped around him and a smile across her face, the pair heading for Jessica's debut match.
Mayhem: Well ladies and gents, that was certainly an interesting debut to say the least...
Trinks: Mini-Trinks would like to say hello to that foxy mama!
Mayhem: Does the term “sexual harassment” mean anything to you?
Trinks: No... but since it has “sex” and “her-ass” in it, I’ve gotta say it sounds great to me! Hahaha! Next matchup Stan.
Stan announces the match and there with first opponent hails from. Phoenix comes from the back in his usual way and takes his place after his music cuts out. The second opponent, Jessica comes from the back in her pink and grey outfit. She does her thing as she walks down through the entryway. The male attendance appreciate the rookie as she goes to her side of the ring.
Stan announces the last participant in tonights match, LaRoux who comes out wearing an ANTI-TREY J shirt. She looks like a woman on a mission and perhaps this is a direction message to Trey and P.I. Or something deeper is at work here. She comes down to the ring and slides under the bottom only to have Jessica and Phoenix tag-team stomping her with their boots. It is a gang mentality between Jessica and Phoenix if they hop to win at all! Phoenix finally turns on his partner in crime and he sends Jessica reeling back with a couple right hands! He takes her back to the corner and sends boots to her midsection which crumple the rookie to the mat. Sydney by this time has gotten back up and she gets into a left and right shot exchange until she whips Phoenix into the ropes and drives him to the mat with a flying clothesline! He goes down hard but Sydney jerks him back up onto his feet and she motions for Jessica to help him suplex Phoenix. Both woman take the weight and Phoenix and he is driven into the mat again! He is left there motionless! Is Phoenix dead?!!
Jessica then starts to go up top on the turnbuckle to go for a high aerial assault move but just as she leaps, Sydney LaRoux catches her in mid-air and uses that forward momentum to scoop slam her down overtop of Phoenix’s legs. Its with that sudden realization that both these rookies are down that Sydney moves down and puts a hand on both of them as the ref counts.

Mayhem: LaRoux with a quick win over the two rookies here tonight! I can imagine they will be jaded next week!
We cut backstage into the locker room of Joe Johnson as it's obvious his in the middle of a call. His pacing up and down in his wrestling gear whilst talking. He is alone, Jessica must just be finishing her match or in her locker room.
Joe Johnson: “Ma I gotta do what I gotta do. You know I respect you and Pa but sometimes in life respect isn't enough. I'm sorry but I'm fed up with trying to make you approve of what I do.”
Still pacing up and down he listens along to his Ma talking as he pulls disapproving faces.
Joe Johnson: “Yeah so what I could have been a surgeon or a doctor but I didn't want to be. You taught me that with hard work I can be anything I want to be and that happens to be a wrestler. It's not my fault you and Pa don't approve, at least my beautiful girlfriend Jessica does. Plus before you ask, yes she is also a wrestler, a pretty damn awesome one at that too.”
He pauses letting his Ma say what she has to say. Walking over to the full length mirror he makes sure his hair is looking okay.
Joe Johnson: “You mean you and Pa want to meet her? Why so you can judge her because she wrestles too? I won't let you do that, I hope you realise Jessica is the reason I'm happy. You and Pa, have always said you would approve of what I do yet you both lied. Tonight I will be doing what I told you, I'm sorry if you don't approve but I'm doing it any way. At least I got Jessica by my side.”
With that he puts the phone down and turns it off before placing it into his locker. Walking off to the mirror again he starts to admire himself.
Trinks: What kind of beautiful woman would ever be seen with a dingleberry like him, huh? All I can say is for Jessica Robertson to be with him, he’s gotta be hung like a black ma--
Mayhem: That’s extremely inappropriate, Richie! I don’t care much about his relationship, however, I do find his phonecall interesting. What is he talking about? What does he mean “do what he’s gotta do”?
Trinks: It’s obvious, Maggie. He got her pregnant!
Mayhem: That’s just crazy, you’re insane, Richie! INSANE!
“The shadow within me…the sorrow at my feet…” As the music of “Simple Survival” by Mushroomhead begins to fill the empty airwaves of the arena, Tyce steps out from behind the curtain. He steps slowly to the edge of the stage and stands there, his left hand being massaged by his right. The song reaches the chorus.
“What’s your name…who do you love…I wanna hate you, kill you, treat you like I’ve had enough”
Tyce walks slowly down the ramp, looking out into the crowd. He steps up the stairs and turns on the top step, putting his back to the ring post and puts his arms straight out, closing his eyes and tilting his nose to the ceiling of the building before turning back, wiping his feet and stepping into the ring between the top and middle ropes.
Stan Hopeforth: Introducing first, standing at 6’6” and weighing in at 255 lbs…TYCE!!!!!!!
Entrance Description: The lights dim to near darkness, "Gone Guru" kicks up on the PA, and a quick, but thick puff of smoke rises from beneath the grated entrance area. Once it dissipates, a figure clad in black from head to toe is revealed, the intimidating visage of The Black Mantis himself! Mantis stalks down to the ring at a languid pace, walks up the steps and ducks through the ropes. He moves to his corner, faces it, drops to a knee and bows his head for an extended moment....then Mantis steps to the second turnbuckle using it for a springboard, shooting himself into the air and performing a backflip as he removes martial arts-style entrance robe in mid-air! Mantis lands on his feet as the crowd cheers loudly, and elicits more cheers as he performs various kicks and punches, and finishes by striking a "ready" pose, awaiting the beginning of his match.
Stan Hopeforth: And his partner…standing 6’2” and weighing in at 252 lbs…BLACK MANTIS!!!!!
”Don't Drag Me Down” by Social Distortion kicks in throughout the arena as the fans start their chorus of cheers. They begin to chant “Johnson...Johnson...Johnson” as Joe Johnson walks out on to the ramp loving the positive response from the crowd. Holding his arms out wide in a Jesus sort of pose. He has a smile so big from ear to ear due to the crowd cheering and chanting his name as he now begins his walk down to the ring. Slapping hands with some of the fans and even stopping to sign a few autographs. Once at the ring Joe Johnson walks up the steel steps and enters the ring through the top and middle rope. Now in the ring he walks over to the turnbuckle climbing up to the second rope and holds his arms out wide in a Jesus pose once again. As he jumps down he makes his way to the middle of the ring as he stands there smiling as his music fades out.
Stan Hopeforth: And their opponents…first, standing 6’2” and weighing in at 235 lbs…JOOOOOOOOOOE JOHNSON!!!!!!
“I Made It” by Kevin Rudolf suddenly sounds throughout the building and the crowd erupt into cheers. After a few seconds pause Steve Martyn strolls out onto the ramp area, he smirks in a satisfied and confident way at the reaction from the fans and begins his walk down to the ring. Steve acknowledges most fans and slaps hands with a few others as he wonders down the ramp, he continues to receive cheers as he ascends the ring steps. He enters between the middle and top rope and instantly wonders other to the far corner, Steve climbs up and poses for the crowd whilst taking in the supremely welcoming response from the fans. He soon steps down to the canvas and stretches his arms in the air before readying himself for action. At this stage the music dies away.
Stan Hopeforth: And his partner…standing 6’ and weighing in at 225 lbs…STEVE MARTYN!!!!!!!
The bell rings and teams huddle in their respective corners to discuss strategy. Black Mantis and Joe Johnson start out for their respective teams and meet in the middle of the ring. The referee explains the rules of the match to the both of them and then signals for the bell to officially start our main event tag team match.
Mayhem: Here we go!.
Black Mantis and Johnson circle each other in the middle of the ring and lock up. Both men try to gain the advantage and then Black Mantis lifts Johnson up into a fireman’s carry slam. He then immediately locks Johnson up with a rear naked choke, but Johnson somehow wiggles out before Black Mantis could lock it up tight and picks Mantis up and flips him over his back. Mantis lands on his feet and grabs Johnson around his neck and locks him into a standing rear naked choke. Johnson struggles for a second and then shoves him off into the ropes. Black Mantis bounces back and knocks Johnson down with a bicycle kick! Black Mantis bounces into the first ropes and Johnson is immediately up there to hit a drop toe hold and applies an ankle lock!
Mayhem: Wow!!! What an amazing display of athleticism by both competitors!!!!
Mantis kicks Johnson away and begins to fight back as he tries to get back to his feet. Joe tries a leg sweep on Black Mantis but Mantis blocks it and retaliates with a swift kick to the gut. He hits another one and Joe is forced to his knees. Mantis takes a few seconds to put some pressure on his now throbbing ankle. Mantis turns around just in time to see Joe Johnson charging him full speed. Mantis sidesteps him at the last second and sends Joe crashing into the ropes. Joe stumbles back into a Judo Hip-Toss from Black Mantis. Mantis then lifts one of Joe’s legs up and locks in a standing leg lock. The crowd tries to get behind Joe Johnson as he screams out in pain. The referee checks him for submission, but Joe simply refuses.
Trinks: Not this early in the match!
Mantis tries to add more pressure to that leg, but Joe suddenly reaches up and grabs Mantis by the skull and brings him down into a cradle attempt, and Mantis kicks out at one-and-a-half!!!! They both get back to their feet and Mantis immediately knocks Joe back down to the mat with a thunderous, neck shattering lariat!
Mayhem: What a display of strength from Black Mantis!
Trinks: All the superstars here in Revival wrestling have to be versatile, Mantis is showing just that!
Mantis tags Tyce in and he goes right to work on Joe Johnson. He pulls Joe up to his feet and hits a fisherman’s suplex. He tries for a pin, but Joe kicks out!!! Tyce pulls Joe up into a sitting position and pulls both of his arms back behind his body, stretching them as much as he can. Joe screams as he is stuck in the middle of the ring with nowhere to go. The crowd starts to get behind Joe again as Tyce places a knee right into Joe’s spine.
Mayhem: My eyes don’t lie fans, Believe it or not, the crowd led motivation actually begins to work!
Joe starts to maneuver his body around to the point that he is on a knee. He then gets to both knees as Tyce feels his grip loosening up. Joe finally gets to his feet, so Tyce shoves him forward into the ropes. Tyce is immediately there with a shot to Joe’s spine, sending him back down to a knee, his hands holding the ropes to keep from going completely to the mat. Tyce then places Joe’s throat on the middle rope and pulls up on it, choking Joe out!!! The referee counts to 4 before Tyce releases the ropes to avoid the disqualification ruling.
Trinks: Tyce almost got disqualified there!
The referee backs Tyce away from Joe Johnson, allowing Joe to get to his feet. Tyce backs up towards his corner and Black Mantis taps him on the shoulder for a blind tag. Joe still thinks Tyce is the legal man and nails Tyce with a dropkick that sends him crashing out of the ring. Johnson looks to follow, but Mantis cuts him off. Mantis looks out to his partner momentarily and then turns his attention back to Joe Johnson who is making a mad dash towards him. Joe hits an explosive flying clothesline on Black Mantis in the corner and Mantis goes down to the mat. Joe drags him out of the corner and to the middle of the ring and goes for a cover…

KICKOUT!
Mayhem: Mantis showed a little weakness look at Tyce and being distracted.
Trinks: Mantis is a sharp wrestler, just a momentary lapse of judgment I suppose.
Joe pulls Mantis up to his feet and whips him across the ring and into the ropes. Mantis rebounds off of the ropes, ducks under Joe Johnson clothesline attempt, fires off of the opposite ropes and he and Joe collide with double crossbodies!!!! Both men are down as the crowd is begging for Joe Johnson to make the hot tag to Steve Martyn. Joe slowly crawls towards his corner as Mantis grabs his foot in desperation. Joe gets to his one free leg, balances himself, and hits an enziguri right to Black Mantis’s temple. The crowd is going crazy as Joe gets back to his feet, leaps towards his corner and makes the tag to Steve Martyn!!!! Steve immediately leaps over the top rope into the ring. Black Mantis stumbles back up to his feet and Steve Martyn hits a single leg take down. Martyn gets to his feet and pulls Black Mantis up. Martyn hooks the arm and tights and lifts Black Mantis up into the air as if to hit a suplex. Martyn then makes his way to the nearest ropes and drapes Black Mantis’s body over the top rope.
Trinks: That’ll take the air out of your lungs!
Martyn hits a kick to the chest, makes his way to an adjacent corner, and then sprints back towards him, grabbing his neck and hitting a devastating swinging neckbreaker!!! Black Mantis is out on the mat as Martyn goes for a cover.

Thr-NO!
Trinks:]\ Steve Martyn with a nearfall there as Black Mantis still hasn’t been able to get the cobwebs out.
Mayhem: Well, this is still anyone’s match! Martyn is the freshest man, but Tyce and Mantis have exhibited better team work.
Martyn quickly locks in a front facelock on Black Mantis. The crowd is solidly behind him as he continues to wrench in that submission hold. The motivation would be short lived, however, because Black Mantis summons the strength from within and nails a bridging type of suplex, flips backwards on his feet as the impact releases Martyn’s facelock.
Trinks: WHAT DO WE EVEN CALL THAT?!?!?!?!
Tyce is back on the apron as he yells out encouragement to Black Mantis. Mantis shakes the cobwebs and starts to make his way towards his corner, Steve suddenly grabs Black Mantis by his shoulder and sends him shoulder first in the steel ring post!!!! Mantis slowly crumbles to the mat as Tyce reaches into the ring and slaps him across the back for a blind tag of his own!!!!
Mayhem: This time there is no doubt who the legal man is!
Tyce climbs into the ring and immediately engages in an exchange of punches with Steve Martyn. Tyce finally gets the advantage with a quick rake of the eyes. Martyn stumbles away, holding his face, and Tyce takes advantage by grabbing Martyn…sending him into the ropes SPINEBUSTER! Tyce makes a quick tag to Mantis and goes bac and looks at Martyn
Trinks: I think our announce table just shook with that force!
Tyce then looks down at Martyn, who is out cold on the mat, and grabs a leg. Tyce taunts the crowd as Martyn comes to…STRAIGHT BOOT TO THE GROIN! The crowd cheers as Tyce will be singing soprano for the rest of the evening!
Mayhem: That has to hurt!
Steve Martyn stumbles back into his corner out of breath. Black Mantis charges and immediately begins assaulting Steve Martyn before he could get back to his feet. He then pulls Martyn the rest of the way up to his feet and tries to throw him over the top rope to the outside, but Martyn finds a way to land on the apron. Mantis has his back turned towards Martyn as he looks to help Tyce. Martyn taps him on the shoulder and Mantis then turns around to see Steve Martyn standing on the apron. Mantis immediately charges him, but whenever he gets to the ropes, Martyn buries his shoulder into Mantis’s guts through the ropes. Mantis stumbles back a few steps but then charges again as Martyn still hangs from the ropes. Just as Black Mantis gets to the ropes, Steve Martyn pulls down on the top rope, sending Mantis to the outside.
Trinks:Steve Martyn and Joe Johnson have both been amazing tonight!
Mayhem: The crowd is really awake for this match!
Joe Johnson is now in the ring as he stands on the opposite side of the ring from Steve Martyn. Joe then makes a mad dash across the ring, leaps over the top rope and crashes onto Black Mantis on the outside, knocking him back towards the floor!!!! The crowd is going crazy as both men are out cold on the outside of the ring. Martyn finally rolls to the outside and starts to help Joe Johnson get to his feet when he is attacked from behind by Tyce. Tyce knocks him to the floor and then whips him hard into the steel ring stairs!!!! He then turns his attention to Joe Johnson. He pulls a lifeless Joe up to his feet and rolls him under the bottom rope into the ring. Tyce then slides into the ring himself and begins laying the boots to Joe’s rib cage area. He then pulls Joe up to his feet and places his head between his legs. He lifts Joe up in a powerbomb motion, but Joe begins fighting back with an arrau of desperation punches to Tyce’s skull. The barrage of punches causes Tyce to lose his balance as he falls backwards. Joe falls down on top of him, but immediately gets back to his feet and goes to the ropes. He fires back off of the ropes as Tyce starts to get back to his feet and knocks him back down with a headscissors takedown!!! With Tyce on the mat, Joe stands right next to his body and then hits an elbow drop to the throat. He then goes for a pin attempt, but remembers that he and Tyce are not the legal men and opts instead to go to the outside and climb up to the top rope. He looks to pounce on Tyce, but Black Mantis suddenly shows up on the apron and shoves Joe off of the top rope and lands hard on the mats. Mantis enters the ring and Martyn rolls back in at the same time. Martyn gets to his feet and Mantis backs him into the corner. Tyce is still on the mat hurting!
Mayhem: It looks like the end for Steve Martyn!!!!
Trinks: The ref has lost all control!!!!!!
Mantis runs in for a giant Avalanche, Martyn stumbles out of the corner…DOWNWARD FACING DOG!!!!!! JOHNSON IS STILL NOT MOVING ON THE OUTSIDE!!!!! COVER…

Stan Hopeforth: Ladies and gentlemen, your winners of this match TYCE AND BLACK MANTIS!!!!!!!!!
As the match has come to an end Joe Johnson and Steve Martyn are in the middle of the ring. Joe holds his hand out offering a handshake to Steve. He has no reason not to trust Joe so instantly obliges with a handshake.
Joe pulls him in close tapping shoulders as he whispers something into the ear of Steve. The face of Martyn drops as whatever has been said has startled him.
Trying to break the handshake Steve can't as Johnson tightens his grip using the pressure points in the hand. Joe has a sickening smirk come across his face as he quickly breaks the handshake and hits a grounded superkick.
The crowd are shocked, some even booing and shouting “You suck Joe” which fuels him even more as he starts stomping on Steve's right ankle. He turns to some of the crowd and mockingly holds his finger up to his mouth signalling them to shut up. They respond with a very loud chorus of boos which makes Joe's smirk even more sinister.
Mayhem: What the...?
As if Steve hadn't taken enough of a beating yet, Joe locks in an ankle lock really wrenching the ankle. The demeanour of Joe isn't what we are use to, the pain of Steve is just fuelling him to cause more pain. It's shocking that no one has come to the aid of Steve and that Joe has turned his back on him and the fans.
Trinks: Things can’t be looking too good for Steve Martyn, now. He should have stuck with acting, folks!
Fighting to break the hold Martyn is sweating because of the pain. Yet Joe has the ankle lock locked in so tight. The sound we hear next isn't one many would like to hear but it seems to please Joe a lot. A loud crack rings out through the arena as Joe has literally snapped the ankle of Steve. His now screaming out in pain as the EMT's run down to the ring. Johnson still hasn't let go and he just gives the EMT's a look. If looks could kill they would all be dead now.
Mayhem: This is just disgusting!
Now bored and seeing the ankle of Steve almost facing the other way, Joe gets up letting the EMT's sort Martyn out. Joe backs up to the turnbuckle and leans against it as the EMT's attend to Martyn. They have managed to get him on a board and slide him on to a stretcher outside the ring. Joe's face expression says it all. Just purely focused on Steve as he runs and jumps on the ropes using it as a springboard to hit a Guillotine Leg Drop.
Trinks: I gotta say, this is one sick and twisted cat, Mama Mayhem!
Blood starts to run from the mouth of Steve as Joe gets up to his feet and brushes himself off. He looks back at the stretcher seeing the EMT's attend to him. Joe just laughs as he now heads up the ramp to the backstage area.
Mayhem: That was just appalling! Joe Johnson is nothing more than a lying, sinister jerkface, Richie!
Trinks: All I can even think to say is that Joe Johnson is certainly the man who sold the world tonight!
Mayhem: Just appalling, Richie! However, I’m being told that Jessica King is standing by looking to garner a word with the World Champion, Ben Hanson!
Violence cuts backstage to where Jessica King is nervously waiting. She’s standing outside the rear entrance to the building, seemingly eager to talk to whomever she has heard has arrived at the building. The door slowly opens and in slips a familiar face, the Revival World Heavyweight Champion, Ben Hanson, not-dressed for action tonight; he wears jeans and tight white v-neck tee. He closes the door behind him and smiles when he spots Jessica standing there.
Ben Hanson: It’s as if you were waiting for me…
He speaks far louder and more clearly than he has done for the last few weeks. Obviously the bruised trachea is well on it’s way to healing.
Jessica King: I heard you would be coming in this way, Ben.
Ben Hanson: Is everything ok?
He picked up on King’s worried tone.
Jessica King: I was walking by your locker room earlier and there was a package left for you outside the door.
Ben Hanson: A package?
Jessica King: Well, an envelope … I picked it up for you before anybody else could get their hands on it…
She says as she hands Ben the A4 sized brown envelope. It has his name scrawled across the front of it in feminine handwriting. It’s still sealed, however, so Ben slips his thumb into the opening and rips across the top, opening the envelope up.
Jessica King: What is it?
Ben Hanson: I don’t know, I haven’t looked inside yet…
He replies as he spreads open the envelope and dips one hand in, retrieving the contents. A single photo with a sticky note attached.
Jessica King: Well, what is it?
King asks once more. There is, however, no response from Hanson.
Jessica King: Ben?
Ben Hanson: It’s a girl.
He says as King leans over to view what turns out to be a sonograph. Hanson places it back into the envelope and silently sulks off out of view of the camera as Jessica King is left wondering exactly why Ben was sent a sonograph.
Mayhem: What in the world? Ben Hanson’s world is falling apart at the seams, and now he gets that? This place is getting a never-ending supply of crazy, folks. Up next, Richie Trinks delivers the interview of his REVIVAL career!
